It was great to see everyone at the open day, hosted at Sawbridgeworth dojo.
The day started with two hours of Kumite followed by 2 hours of Kata training. Thanks to Sensei, Tony Kilcullen (8th Dan), Chris Martin (7th Dan), Steve Johnson (6th Dan), Gareth Waldram (6th Dan), Robin Welch (6th Dan) and Paul Wilson (6th Dan) for teaching throughout the day.
We also had the opportunity to present two senior grading certifications to Sam Kouzarides - 3rd Dan and Sensei Chris Martin - 7th Dan.
After training, it was great to share a meal together at a local restaurant and I am sure everyone is looking forward to the next one of these events in 2024.
